From a Piece of Steel ... to a Piece of Art
A few words from the Inventor
The reason for the use of “From a Piece of Steel... to a Piece of Art” as a title, is to describe briefly and fully our devotion to build not just an original guitar tremolo system, but also a product on a new level of convenience and functionality that has an appealing physical appearance.
To invent and to create a new crafty product is difficult, but to dress it in an attractive and memorable form really turns it into a Piece of Art. Also we believe that the good design can transform the crafty construction into a brilliant product.
Guided by the idea of creating a new enhanced Tremolo system that provides not only exceptional convenience and functionality, but also incomparable durability and tone fullness, we have not forgotten the axiom "FORM follows FUNCTION" by the American architect Louis Sullivan, often used by one of his famous students Frank Lloyd Wright.
In the processes of invention, design and engineering of the Tremoline FT36T we were strongly inspired by the design of the ultimate cars and also of the ingenious technical solutions embeded of the racing cars. Knowing how much constant efforts lies behind every tenth of a second gained on a track, we kneel to the creativity, courage, and constant strive towards perfection of generations of car designers and engineers, accepting the challenge of being pioneers.
For instance, the horizontal and one-of-the-kind hidden positioning of the fine tuning springs into the saddles assemblies in our Tremolo system was inspired by the suspension of the F1 racing cars.
And one more example, our original system which is the only flat-top designed fine tuning double locking tremolo system was inspired by the active (movable) front and back flaps of the Pagani Huayra which make the protruding, unnatural and ugly rear wings of the ultimate cars unnecessary, without any compromises.
It’s one thing to find an engineering solution to a certain problem, but it's something different to dress it up in a remarkable design without losing any of the functionality.
We hope we have succeeded.
